I'm not sure how we managed it but last week we packed in more than 50 photos from folks at the session and a video to go with them...must be something to do with Christmas...

Dave Blanden: WoodturningDave Blanden sent over some photos of a really lovely shallow bowl he has made in the shape of a leaf. Dave is happy to still have all of his fingers intact after having all of those pointy bits whizzing around.

Graham Brooks: WoodturningGraham Brooks sent over some photos of an assortment of turning work and, of course, some of the work was seasonal.

Ken Bryden: WoodturningKen Bryden sent over some photos of some bowl turning he had been doing using some green timber. We were also treat to some images of finished work including a rather lovely carved and pierced piece. Ken's getting a new iPad for Christmas so we can look forward to a lot more photos!!!

Kevin Purdy: WoodturningKevin Purdy sent over some photos of a natural edge piece he has completed...bit of resin infill also showing.

Len Shield: WoodturningLen Shield sent over some photos of a Christmas treat made by his wife. Apparently these little houses are filled with sweets and they are for his grandkids...I just be their parents will be sharing all those goodies!

Martin Dickinson: WoodturningMartin Dickinson sent over some photos of damage to trees from the two recent named storms (Arwen and Barra). Looking forward to seeing the part turned work soon Martin !!

Pat Carroll: WoodturningPat Carroll obviously has found some ointment for his rusty nuts and sent in some photos of his recent visit to Andrew Hall's workshop. The other masked avenger is of course Helen Bailey...but the real star of the show is of course Indy.

Ray Midgley: WoodturningRay Midgley sent over some photos of a piece that has been occupying him for several months. An absolutely stunning teapot made from several hundred segments with a bent wood handle.

Richard Dickson: WoodturningRichard Dickson sent over some photos of his mammoth production run on Christmas trees...my advice is: next time just say no or if it's a cause you want to support just give them a fiver and that'll be the end of it.

Stephen Mellor: WoodturningStephen Mellor sent over some photos of a piece based on an article by Colwin Way. We also have a video of the piece in action.

As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!

DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!

Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.

Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all,  keep on sharing!
