Another Monday night and plenty of work on show from those in attendance, Allan Joicey gave us all plenty of food for thought with a very good presentation on how he built a Rose Engine. Here is the round up in case you missed it!

Bill Mooney sent in some Easter themed photos, including one of a very rare creature....a mushroom fairy. Bill had found this rare creature when out walking in the woods and had made it a new home to keep it safe.....very nice!

Allan Joicey gave us an overview of the Rose Engine he has made from some plans he had downloaded from the Internet. Most of us know Allan for his thread chasing and his ornamental work and the presentation gave us a more in depth view of how a Rose Engine works...I feel an IRD coming on Allan!!

Tony Chappell has been out shopping and has managed to grab himself a bargain down at Lidl..a nifty little saw for cutting up logs. The saw is cordless and seemed to handle the cherry logs Tony has been cutting up quite well. Clearly we can look forward to some photos of the items made from the logs in the next few weeks then Tony....see what I did there??
Kevin Purdy gave us all some more of his lovely easter themed items. This time we had a look at some of the Easter Eggs that Kevin has made in a variety of woods, the eggs are of course boxes complete with metal hinges and finials. Very nice work.
Len Shield sent over some photos of some little characters he found in the workshop...these seemed to be very popular with people at the meeting and I think we may see quite a few more of these little characters popping up in workshops all over the place!
Patrick Lindsay sent over some photos of a couple of rather lovely hollow forms and one of them shows us just how talented Mrs Lindsay is as a flower arranger....really lovely display!
As always we had several contributions from others but the session is not recorded so I don't have screen shots....if you showed something then please do send over some photos, you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
