Yep, no mistaking it. The season has shifted and we are all returning to the workshop...some lovely work to prove it. Lots of photos and lots of discussion about non-virtual clubs.
Burnsy sent over some photos of another treasure recovered and about to be put back to work. This time it's a DeWalt Radial Arm Saw, a model 1251. One more thing not headed for the skip!
Gary Lowe produced some pieces from a small branch of holm oak (Quercus Ilex), the timber is highly figured to say the least!!
John Brown sent over some images of a some Beech he had gotten wet and wrapped in cling film. The resulting spalted timber has the lovely patterns and colours that we all get so excited over!!
Len Shield has been out in the workshop and doing a bit of carving to produce this really great bottle holder.
Mike Wilson sent over some photos of an unidentified Burr, the photos were a little on the small side for us to see the details but hopefully we will have another go this week.
Patrick Lindsay sent us over some photos of the latest pieces emerging from the workshop...I only wish I had half Patrick's energy...
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
