More workshop output, a club visit and a visit to the Vicmarc factory. So if you're not already out there making stuff then read on for a bit more inspiration!
Burnsy sent over some photo's sent over by Keith Parkes. Keith got in touch to discuss a potential purchase of a Wadkin RU, despite advice to the contrary Keith has gone ahead and ruined his life! He is now the proud owner or a 1940's model RU 15, he said that he planned to get rid of his current Wadkin RS model now he has the RU...yeah like we believe that's going to happen. We will hopefully see Keith on our Monday sessions at some point in the not too distant future.
Len Shield sent over a couple of images of a five sided piece he has turned in some rather nice spalted beech. Len's workflow has been interrupted by an electrical fault on the lathe but he should be back up and running pretty soon.
Patrick Lindsay sent over some photos of a whole load of work, quite a collection!
Phil Irons sent over some photos from his recent trip down under. Phil went to visit relatives but found time to visit the Vicmarc factory and a local woodturning club, his luggage was somewhat heavier on the way home following the visit to the Vicmarc factory....
Richard Dickson sent us over some photos of some bowls, a ring, a pencil pot (looking awfully like a goblet) and some photos of something he said was a hill....several comments were made about the small mound in the photos....
Stephen Mellor sent us over some photos of some cakes and cake stands ....he made both the stand and the cake!
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
