Yes, it's official....Christmas production is in full swing ....we even had a gonk!! Lots of photos from an event at a well known tool retailer in the North East and of course no week would be complete without an orchid or two!!
Arun sent over some photos of some work done on one of his weekends back home from college, he also attended a Christmas fair...what a busy chap!
Gary Lowe sent over some photos of a couple of pieces plus a Gonk...well it is Christmas !!
Julian Cleak has managed to a acquire a Vicmarc lathe at a knock down price...slight issue with the motor but nothing major. Very nice indeed.
Kevin Purdy has been overtaken by the festive season, snowmen complete with scarves !!
Len Shield has has also moved into Christmas production mode, a snowman which acts as a holder for a set of coasters.
Pat Carroll demonstrated at an event held at the Axminster store in North Shields which was attended by a number of Turning North regulars. Plenty of photos and it seems that a good time was had by all.
Patrick Lindsay has been out in the workshop as usual, more bowls and some items made from pine. It's safe to say that Patrick isn't a fan of pine as turning timber...an interesting discussion!
Phil Irons has had another "lightbulb moment". A batten has been added to the lightbulb box...enough with the lightbulb jokes already !!
Richard Dickson has been attending a Christmas fair and had some success in selling his work...well done that man!!
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
