Well, this week despite it only being November we had the seasonal turnings, it had to happen I suppose. So read on for more festive cheer, bah Humbug and all that!
Graham Brooks led the festive charge with this a Santa box which just crept in under the radar.
John Walker sent over some photos of a Christmas present production run of Yew boxes he's been making. Very nice indeed.
Len Shield sent over some photos of a multiple centre turned Christmas Tree. As always Len, nicely done.
Martin Stacey sent over some photos of a Christmas present he has been making and a dragon fly with wings made from Sycamore seed pods...very innovative as always Martin!
Patrick Lindsay sent over some photos of woodturning with no seasonal links whatsoever! Three really lovely hollow forms, two with finials.
Phil Irons sent over some photos of a pen he'd been commissioned to make. The pen uses a kit from a German supplier and is made from Masur Birch. Pen making, I knew he'd find a use for that Robust lathe at some point !!
Richard Dickson sent over some photos and a video of a Christmas Tree production run he's been on ..... the video is below and you can see the concentration on Richards face as he makes these festive specials.
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
