Lots more work on display this evening including an incident involving melting wax which caused some hilarity....moving swiftly on....
Andrew Hall sent us over some photos of some pieces of work plus photos of a trip he'd made up to see Ash up in Northumberland...we even managed to get some photos of Indy!
Arun Radysh Haasis sent over some photos of some more recent work, including a wall plaque piece and a hollow form with a gold painted interior. Some lovely work on display!
Kevin Purdy sent over some photos of a bowl with a painted interior and a very 70's inspired string technique around the opening. Very nice indeed!
Len Shield sent over a photo of a Yew vase with some hand made artificial flowers made by Len's wife Kathleen. Very nice work from all concerned!
Pat Carroll sent over some photos of his blank preparation process which involves the use of recycled wax as a sealant on the end grain of the blanks. The wax is melted on a stove, the stove bears the brand "Bush"...someone pointed this out and ensuing. chaos had to be seen to be believed. Moving swiftly on.....
Stephen Mellor sent over some photos of recent pieces plus a photo of a trip to his local Axminster store to see a VIP demonstrator....he even got a selfie with the demonstrator but we're not sure if he managed an autograph....
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
