Another busy Monday evening session, thankfully this time no mention of wax or wax products although we did have some discussion of synthetic turning materials.....we won't use the "R" word....

Arun Radysh Haasis: WoodturningArun Radysh Haasis sent over some photos of more recent work, it appears that the storms have been extremely kind and Arun now has a large amount of wood to choose from ...so we can look forward to more pieces on display.

Pat Carroll: WoodturningPat Carroll sent over some photos of a bit of turning he had been doing recently...it appears that Pat has been forced to turn certain types of material under duress...we are currently checking to see if the Geneva Convention has been broken and the whole case may result in a trial at the Hague.....Maybe we should all just call him "The resin whisperer" from now on....

Patrick Lindsay: WoodturningPatrick Lindsay sent over some photos of a cookie jar lid he has made to replace a broken ceramic one and we also had some photos of the orchids currently in bloom in Patrick's greenhouse.

Phil Irons: WoodturningPhil Irons sent over some photos of an Elm tree that had come down in the recent storms, we also got a photo of a van which had been hit by a falling tree and looks like it may one of two scratches buffing out of the paint work. Lastly we got a photo of an unamed turner in Australia who is in possession of a Wadkin RU...it appears he isn't using the traversing carriage so I'm currently trying to get in touch with him re: shipping.

As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!

DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!

Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.

Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all,  keep on sharing!
