A busy Monday evening, especially for those of us still reeling from Meet the Woodturner Live, lots of chatter and lots of updates plus we were joined "live" from the Wear Valley Woodturners in-person meeting...technology is great when it works!!
Andrew Hall sent over some photos of the latest addition to the family, welcome to Bailey!
Burnsy had a visitor to the workshop...though we're pretty sure he just came along to see Wanda and Minnie of course!! Arun paid a visit and put in a huge amount of work helping to tidy and re-organise the workshop. Wanda is now back centre stage in the workshop and is looking forward to getting on with some larger scale hollowing work.
Jim Briggs has been out to an in-person demo at his local woodturning club (remember those!!), apparently it was some short Australian bloke...luckily enough his face was mostly obscured by the angle poise lamp....
Pat Carroll sent over some photos of his in-person demonstration at his local woodturning club in Gorey, Ireland. Looks like the front couple of rows may have been in need of an umbrella.
Patrick Lindsay sent over some photos of a couple of Monkey Puzzle bowls and some photos of the some of the orchids currently in flower in his greenhouses.
Richard Dickson opted to send some photos over rather than have us simply "pick on him"...seems to be getting a little paranoid...good to know that's working well then! It won't save him next week though ......
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
