Well, what a busy lot we all are. Another packed Monday session !! Read on for more details...
Andrew Hall is still feeling the call of the wild and has been out and purchased a brand new tent (inflatable) so that he and Bailey can head for the hills. Janet and Indy "may" join them but perhaps only when the weather allows....sensible approach.
Arun Radysh Haasis sent over some images of him (plus brother) extracting some windthrown Ash from a hillside via a stream and a 1km log roll...most of us were exhausted just thinking about it. Arun also sent over some images of his recent work. I'm exhausted just looking.
Burnsy sent over some images of a recent piece featuring some of the metal reactive paints (copper) from Chromacraft. Also we got a photo of a rather odd wavy strandline on the beach spotted by Minnie...a very observant dog!!
Graham Brooks sent over some images of a couple of boxes made recently. Both boxes feature hand chased threads cut by Graham.
Kevin Purdy sent over a few photos of a recent piece with a carved rim which had been painted with some "colour shift" paints. Lots of comments and questions on these paints. They are made by Vallejo and come in three colour range packs (Magic Dust, Galaxy Dust and Cosmic Dust). You need a black background and in this case Kevin had applied the paints with an airbrush. You can purchase the paints on Amazon (and other places). Just do a search on Amazon for "Vallejo Colour Shift" and you should find them.
Phil Irons sent over a photo of a laser engraving on slate showing a representation of a recent incident reported in the independent sovereign state of Ukraine. That's as close to politics as we want to go on a Monday evening.
Richard Dickson sent over a few photos of a couple of hollow forms with threaded lids. Very nice shape!!
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
