This week we had more visits to other turners, a non-turning project and a visit to wooden car manufacturer...what's not to like !!
Arun Radysh Haasis has been down from the Highlands on a visit and called in to see a couple of other members of our group. So here we see Arun with John Brown and Brian Conchie (centre). Some large pieces of timber changed hands and a handy hoist went back North with Arun.
John Brown sent over some images of himself with Brian and Arun. We also got a couple of images of a nice bowl John had made.
Kevin Purdy sent over some images of a piece of work done at a course he attended to learn about Powertex...now that's a totally new use for an old workboot !!
Phil Irons sent over some photos of a recent day out at a car maker not too far from home...I'd guess the Ash framework will give it away. It was of course the Morgan factory and I think it's safe to say that Phil is big fan...pity he wouldn't fit in one though !!
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
