This week we had more some woodturning with a famous face, wooden insects, a hot tin roof (no cat's were harmed) and cycling...barely even time to take a breath really. Read on for more.
Burnsy sent over some images of the recent exhibition at the Kirkcudbright Arts and Crafts Trail event. Photos include a Monkey Puzzle vase which looks remarkably like a movie character...totally planned ....of course !!
Len Shield sent over some images of a new piece of work. A Bee ! The wooden insect is part turned, part carved and also features some fretsaw work...multi talented is our Len!!
Pat Carroll sent in some photos demonstrating his building talents...a new flat roof complete with insulation being done for Burnsy...those poor birds will have cold feet this winter...shame....
Phil Irons has been off to the velodrome at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham. Getting dizzy watching those cyclist whizz around that wooden track.
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
