Happy New Year to all! Surprisingly we had a good turnout though one or two of our number did look a little "worse for wear" but I'm told there's a lot of flu going around.....still lots of interesting work on show and a few Christmas jumpers still being worn!!
Burnsy sent over an assortment of photos including some ongoing work on a lid inspired by the work of Hans Weissflog being done using the Shaper Origin and a bargain buy from Axminster.
Dave Blanden sent over some photos of a selection of spatulas made for members of his family and handed out at a recent gathering. Dave also showed a small pot made from a mystery timber...answers by email rather than postcard please!!
Helen Bailey sent over a photo of a small bowl made in a timber that looks remarkably like the mystery timber used by Dave Blanden...
Martin Stacey sent over some photos of a late arrival, a branding iron so that he can sign his work! We also got a view of a framed piece made by Martin on the Scroll saw...very nice too.
Mick Johns sent over some photos of recent work including some photos of a set of table legs made using a jig from Paul Howard...lovely work!!
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
