Well, the photos came flooding in and it looks like quite a few of us have been busy! On the other hand quite a few of us were a bit bleary eyed on Monday evening following the exertions of the weekend over at Meet the Woodturner Live 2.  At any rate we had a very busy evening with lots of photos and some really exciting news....

Andrew Hall: WoodturningAndrew Hall is preparing to go stick making and sent over a couple of images showing the preparations. It'll be lovely to see the work when it's ready!

Arun Radysh Haasis: WoodturningArun Radysh Haasis took part in the online event and turned a hollow form, the drop in lid was produced by your's truly using the Shaper Origin. Arun's demo was well received ....let's hope it generates some interest and some commissions!!

Jim Briggs: WoodturningJim Briggs had one of those "Eureka" moments .... he tidied up the workshop and rediscovered the colour of the floor!! You know what they say Jim: "You know it's time to clean the workshop floor when you have to kneel down to turn".

Len Shield: WoodturningLen Shield sent over some photos of his latest projects. A pear shaped box and some other boxes with decorative finishes. As always, lovely work.

Margaret Garrard: WoodturningMargaret Garrard sent over some photos of a gnarly piece of Monkey Puzzle that was given to her. The piece is well on it's way to becoming a rather lovely two piece hollow form. The finished piece is going to be a stunner!

Phil Irons: WoodturningPhil Irons had some really exciting news. Phil has been commissioned to make a trophy for the Green Football Weekend event. The event is designed to encourage football clubs to operate in a "greener" manner and is sponsored by some big premiership clubs and others including Sky Sports. Phil has been busy making the trophy but had to attend a session with one of the Lionesses (Amy Turner) for some photo opportunities. Very exciting indeed, nice to see some woodturning in the limelight!

Pat Carroll: WoodturningPat Carroll sent over some photos of some recently acquired timber. Some nice pieces of Monkey Puzzle and a few other pieces of an, as yet, unidentified timber. Looking forward to seeing some nice Monkey Puzzle pieces shortly then!

Patrick Lindsay: WoodturningPatrick Lindsay sent over some photos of his latest projects plus we were sent over some photos of the latest blooms in his greenhouses. These are simply spectacular, huge very brightly coloured blooms which are just popping out all over the greenhouses.

Richard Dickson: WoodturningRichard Dickson sent over some photos of his newly fitted wood and shavings burner. The stove is now fully installed and keeping both Richard and his faithful dog nice and warm in the workshop. So we should be seeing lots of lovely work shortly now Richard has a lovely warm workspace...see what I did there Richard??

As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!

DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!

Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.

Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all,  keep on sharing!
