What a busy lot we are, photos and videos piled in for another busy Monday evening. Lots of great pieces on show and, of course, no week would be complete without an orchid or two from Patrick !!
Graham Brooks sent in some pictures of a couple of pieces he has completed including one natural edge piece he wasn't sure he'd get over the line. As always lovely work !
Jim Briggs has obviously been inspired by his recent discovery of the workshop floor after last weeks tidy up !! A lovely box with a surface texture decoration this week, nice one Jim!
Len Shield sent over some photos of his latest projects. A couple of candle holders plus a scroll saw project for Valentines...you old romantic !!
Kevin Purdy sent over some photos of pair of Celtic Knot baskets he made on a recent course. Absolutely fantastic!
Mike Wilson sent over some photos of a rather lovely pierced piece he had recently completed, Mike said he doesn't have the patience for this type of work...Looks pretty good to me Mike! Mike also sent over some photos of a mystery timber...nobody guessed it correctly, it turned out to be Mulberry.
Patrick Lindsay sent over some photos his latest project, the blank he described as unliftable is now in progress! Patrick described how he uses a ramp to get these pieces onto the lathe..very ingenious! We also got a view of another orchid currently in bloom in his greenhouse, splendid.
John Brown sent over a couple of video clips of two recent pieces:
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
