New arrivals into workshops, trophies re-seated, woodcarving skiing and some of us even found time for some woodturning....it's exhausting just reading about it. Read on for more:
Burnsy sent in some pictures of a couple of deliveries from Shaper in Germany. A Shaper Plate, described as a "universal template" by Shaper - we'll be finding out about that one shortly! The second delivery contained one of the new Shaper 16mm clearing bits...note the second cover on the cutter, it is very very sharp! The parcel also contained some of the Shaper double sided tape...very sticky indeed.
John McNay joined us recently and sent through some photos of a recent commission for a trophy base. The trophy is a friction fit onto the base which allows for it to be removed when the base needs to be sent off to engrave.
Martin Stacey sent over some photos of a number of projects he had completed, as always very creative work.
Patrick Lindsay has been as busy as ever in the workshop and sent over some photos of work in progress and some finished work including a large burr platter and a Laburnum natural edge bowl. Great stuff!
Richard Dickson sent over some photos of his recent jaunt to do a little skiing ... though it would appear from one of the photos that he may have been indulging in one or two other activities whilst he was there. Looks like great fun!
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
