A fresh batch of images this week, some of them were a trip down memory lane but we had plenty of new and very beautiful work on show from members of the group. Read on for more:
Andrew Hall sent in some pictures from the archives, a whole load of images from a range of training days and workshops. Lots of fun being had by all!!
Arun Radysh Haasis managed to get some photos across to us despite his busy schedule at college and all that travelling. Some lovely work as usual!
Gary Lowe sent over some photos of a recent project. This one is turned and carved, it also features a lot of Gary's signature texture and colour, this one is using the Galeria gel products to achieve a texture which is then coloured. Stunning piece.
Graham Brooks has been busy and sent over some photos of a couple of square bowls he made following on from a Joe Laird demonstraton he watched online. As always some very skilled work on show, great stuff.
Len Shield sent over some photos of two pedestal bowls, one in a dark coloured mystery timber, this one seemed to stump everyone. We also got a video of a Kuksa (cup with handle) that Len turned and finished with Rustins Plastic Coating to make it totally impervious to liquids.
Patrick Lindsay sent over some photos of some recent work he has completed plus a photo of a large bowl he completed a little while ago. Really lovely large scale work as always.
Phil Irons sent over a photo showing the engraved pedestal of the Green Football Weekend Trophy he made recently. The base is made to unscrew from the body of the trophy but Phil did admit to having one of those "hold your breath" moments when laser engraving the base....turned out well though!
Len Shield: Kuksa
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
