As always lots of work going on and, of course, not just turning! One person even managed to win a bar bet by squeezing themselves into a very small car! Read on for more..

 

Andrew Hall: WoodturningAndrew Hall sent over some photos of a new arrival, a folding bike. This will mean that Bailey can continue with his bike trailing when on holiday...getting those miles in regardless of where he might be!!

 

Dave Blanden: WoodturningDave Blanden sent over some photos of a whole load of pieces he had made for a craft show, these included a bunch of ducks made following a demonstration by the late Albert Harrison. Lots of great memories of Albert from those present.

 

Graham Brooks: WoodturningGraham Brooks sent through some photos to illustrate how he turns one of his bowl in a bowl pieces and took us all through the steps. Very informative!

 

John Brown: WoodturningJohn Brown sent over photos of a very nice bowl made from some spalted Beech, glad to see things back on track after the recent struggles with the Burr!!

 

Jim Briggs: WoodturningJim Briggs sent in a photo of himself winning a bar bet...he fitted into an original mini. He wouldn't be able to drive it but he did fit in....just about!!

 

Len Shield: WoodturningLen Shield  sent over some photos of a couple of pieces. One of the pieces was a part turned and part carved wheelbarrow - this one caused a lot of interest.

 

Patrick Lindsay: WoodturningPatrick Lindsay sent over some photos of a piece currently on the lathe. Patrick took a series of images to show us how he produces one of his natural edge pieces from start to finish.

 

Phil Irons: WoodturningPhil Irons sent over a whole bunch of photos showing some of his gear knob projects recently completed and now on their way to customers.
