Well not too many photos sent in but lots of work on show this week, everyone seems to be in the holiday season mode and squeezing in work wherever they can. However we do have one very important announcement - congratulations to Graham Brooks for his well deserved success at the Yorkshire Show !! Read on for more....
Burnsy is continuing on with the laser adventures and moving into a whole different set of ideas with some geometric pictures and pictures based on classic works of art. Some new box designs were also on display including one which had been requested by Phil Irons....a roll top box - not the most practical item but it does work !! A spiral bowl painted with metal reactive paints was also shown...something different.
John Brown sent over some photos of recent work he has been doing. John has been experimenting with turning and threading brass on the lathe, the idea being to make some threaded inserts for boxes and other projects. Seems like he has cracked it so we are now looking forward to seeing the inserts in some projects....see what I did there .....no pressure you understand.....
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
