Even with the good weather, holidays and other distractions it seems like lots of us are still getting out and making things, lots on the go so here is a brief run down from the meeting.
Burnsy completed the homage to Van Gogh by adding colour to the laser piece. The colour seemed to be well received but Mr Burn is not so sure...perhaps another go at it might crack it....watch this space.
Gary Lowe sent over some photos of a mushroom box made with threaded lid...hand chased threads. Gary seems inspired to do more thread chasing..can't wait to see the results!!
Margaret Garrard sent over some photos from Slaley Show where she took away silverware and rosettes...well deserved, beautiful work as always.
Patrick Lindsay sent over photos from Slaley show plus one showing the cover of what looks like a fascinating book about a rediscovered piece of historic furniture which one of his friends has been restoring.
Richard Dickson joined us with some photos from his recent trip to the Lake District...the photos proving that the sun does actually shine in the Lakes...though of course not for more than ten minutes at a time....
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
