Another busy week by the looks of things, lots of work on show and some fairly lively discussions...we even managed to discuss some woodturning, and we did (of course) have some rather lovely orchids on show !!
Burnsy sent in some photos of a recent delivery all the way from Seattle...a Maslow 4. Another assembly task but this time without Gummy Bears, an easily rectified oversight!! A new set of wheels has also been acquired.
Gary Lowe sent in some photos of a very nice new piece, lots of organic flowing lines with that signature burst of colour and texture. Very nice indeed.
Kevin Purdy sent in some photos of a very nice square box with a copper lid and turned copper finial. The copper has had some finish added to age it .... an absolute cracker !!
Patrick Lindsay sent over photographs of work currently on the lathe and some pieces he has completed recently....seems like Patrick has fully recovered from his injury and is making up for lost time!! We also got a look at some rather lovely Orchids currently in bloom.
Phil Irons sent over some photos of some prints he had made for an upcoming exhibition at a local gallery. One print was made using a piece of burr and really did show the burr grain to great effect. Good luck with the exhibition !!
Richard Dickson fresh from the success of his recorded demonstration to us Richard sent over some photos of a bowl made in a style similar to one shown some weeks ago by Mike Wilson...Mr Wilson is not seeking any action on copyright infringement !!!

As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS/VIDEOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
