A bit thin on the ground this week !! The good weather is getting us all outdoors, which is exactly as it should be !! We still had a range of work on show, some original artwork (of sorts !!), a prize winner and some more of that 3d printing stuff. Read on for more....unless the mention of 3d printing has already put you off....

Burnsy: WoodturningBurnsy has been making further inroads into the 3d printing stuff, this time it's less functional prints. Three vases (hollow forms??) were produced with textured surfaces as a first venture into what 3d printers call "vase mode"...more work needed to improve the forms but decent progress.

Jim Briggs: WoodturningJim Briggs was unable to see the Northern Lights where he lives but sent in a piece of original artwork...a kind of impressionist (??) work based on the Northern Lights...I think that's all needed on that subject. Jim has also been out attempting to set his workspace alight using a pewter melting pot intended for overseas use on UK voltage. Jim eventually got it working after a fashion and a bowl with pewter was produced !!

Martin Stacey: WoodturningMartin Stacey sent in some photos of a competition piece he entered which picked up a prize, we also got a photo of Kevin Purdy receiving a prize at his local club for the bowl of fruit we saw a little while ago. Well done to both !!

Phil Irons: WoodturningPhil Irons sent over some images of the Northern Lights as seen from his place, not sure the image has quite the same impact as the one sent in by Jim, at least I think impact is the word?? We also got a look at a print done onto mount board using ink with some of the blue shimmer powder (used to tint resin) added to it, interesting effect !!

As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!

DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS/VIDEOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!

Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.

Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all,  keep on sharing!
