The good weather continues and everyone is out and about, we had garden construction, a "how to" on a finishing technique, printing and a wanderer returning from their travels. Oh, and that pest with the 3d printer has been at it again. Read on for more....
Andrew Hall has been out completing the works in the garden and we can all see the results. Janet is well pleased with the work and Andrew can now get back into the workshop...if Bob will let him!!
Burnsy has been out printing more stuff, this time its a pinhole camera (in fact it was two of them) and it seems that the printing will be continuing as a newer and much bigger printer is due to arrive....more printing to follow then!!
Martin Stacey took us all through the steps he takes to make a bowl with a water droplet effect finish. Jim had asked lots of questions when Martin showed us one of these a few weeks back so Martin did another one and photographed the stages. Very informative and a really nice paint effect...so the only question is - when will be seeing Jim's version of this one then?
Phil Irons sent over some images a rather lovely hollow form he is busy with. More importantly we also got a photo of his sister Felicity on a visit to No. 10 recently. Impressive indeed!!
Richard Dickson has returned from his trip on the NC500, we were given a selection of photos from the trip which took Richard and his son through some of Scotlands best natural beauty spots. All that and Richard found out something very important....the soft top on his TR6 is not waterproof.....
