Another week and it seems that there are all sorts of projects on the go from dog training to roofing, everyone seems to have lots of projects on the go and there was a lot of discussion on a wide variety of subjects, we even had a new visitor - welcome Steve !! Read on for more:

Andrew Hall sent in a couple of videos this week showing Sunny and his progress both on and off lead .... just for Richard !!

Burnsy: WoodturningBurnsy had yet another varied week, the arrival of a domestic battery caused quite a stir and should hopefully see some bills shrink. Some of the decorative pieces are now rolling off the production line, these feature some favourite quotes laser engraved onto them - something different. The 2 inch x 4.5 tpi nut was tested and found to fit the RU, following that the vendors entire stock (5) was purchased !! An idea for sectional vases with 3d printed connectors was discussed....more to follow!!

Kevin Purdy: WoodturningKevin Purdy has sent in sent in some photos of a couple of seasonal critters in the form of some rabbits (or hares) which got quite a few comments, there may well be a few of these emerging from workshops shortly.

Len Shield: WoodturningLen Shield continued the wildlife theme with a couple of kangaroos complete with Joey's in pouches. These little critters proved very popular with everyone, as always a very creative idea from Len which has been very well executed...super fun!! We also got a look at a book of poetry which features a poem about a family dog called Walter who works as a support dog for those in hospital, well done Walter.

Phil Irons: WoodturningPhil Irons sent over some photos of an urn in progress, the shots show the epoxy/metal powder mix being applied as part of the "Kintsugi" process. We also got to see the workshop roof being recovered with metal sheet roofing, Davey has been enlisted to help out  with the task - we will see the finished results next week.
