So this week we seemed to drift into Gardeners Question Time mode with onion harvests, potato harvests and tomato crops along with discussions on tying up onions and the lifecycle of the onion fly...No pupdate this week but Jim supplied a video of his visiting labrador charging around as labradors do...Some of us did actually find some time for wood related matters and even managed a bit of turning...whatever next!! Read on for more:

Burnsy took a little time out from all of the fun to have a run out to the Arts and Crafts Trail in Kirkcudbright. Lots of fun talking with people and some very complimentary comments on the work..always nice to have!!

Jim Briggs: WoodturningJim Briggs sent over some video of his daughters dog in action .... this came in very handy as we didn't get a pupdate this week!! I can only apologise for the nightmares and flashbacks caused by the photo....

Len Shield: WoodturningLen Shield sent over some photos of a couple of recent projects. A stork and a couple of kangaroos complete with Joey's in pouches. Judging from the response we should be seeing a number of these critters appearing from workshops in the not too distant future....nice work!!

Malcolm Ferguson: WoodturningMalcolm Ferguson sent over some photos of a bit of an issue he's facing with replacing the back of a couple of sheds...it appears that the person who put the shed in may not have thought things through fully in terms of maintenance....or possibly they were significantly slimmer than Malcolm!! We also got a look at some recycling in action...handy things those beer kegs....

Martin Stacey: WoodturningMartin Stacey sent over some photos of his recently completed fountain in the garden, complete with mosaic background....and very nice it is too. As always, very creative..well done Martin!!

Mike Wilson: WoodturningMike Wilson sent over some photos of his onion harvest...looks like a bumper crop this time. A discussion evolved on onion fly, tying up onions and plaiting onions...it's a bit like gardeners question time on here sometimes.....

Phil Irons: WoodturningPhil Irons sent over a few images of an oak ring box he had made for a customer...engraved with the names of the bride and groom...sweet.

Richard Dickson: WoodturningRichard Dickson sent over some photos of his continuing potato harvest along with his crop of tomatoes, he's even managed to find time to do some turning..... whatever next we ask ourselves....nice harvest and nice bowl...even manged to keep this one in a single piece!!!
