Well this week we had news from club demos, garden planters shaped like cows, more classic cars (working ones this time!!), turning of endangered species, challenge entries, a successful course of treatment completed and a whole load more stuff. Read on for more:
Andrew Hall sent over some photos from one of his last few club demonstrations, this one was at Skidby where he was able to meet up with a few old friends at the club. We also got our usual "Pupdate" with Roman!!
Burnsy has been out in the workshop making some templates for someone who wanted to make a small garden planter in the shape of a cow. A kit of templates was duly produced and the recipient needs to get a Mooove on - see what I did there!! We also got a look at a local classic car show and the joys of running Windows on a Mac - shudder....
Len Shield sent in some photos of a turned Panda. Len made this at the request of his Granddaughter who sent him a photo of one she spotted in a shop but, sensibly, declined to pay the inflated price....because Granddad could make one of those. Lovely piece of work !!
Martin Stacey sent in a some photos of his completed milking stool (made for a club challenge) and a decorative piece made for a relative. We also got a look at some lovely sunsets. Best of luck in the challenge!!
Patrick Lindsay rejoined us this week and sent in some photos of work in progress in the workshop plus a milestone photo from his cancer treatment where he got to ring the all clear bell .... well done Patrick !!
Paul Howard sent in some photos of a local museum connected to a jam factory. The museum features some early pieces of turned fruit made by Paul some while back...check out the apple in the peeling machine!!
Phil Irons sent over some photos of a few local trees which caught his attention....Phil's hoping they may have reached the end of their lives...and end up on his wood pile!! Phil also sent in a photo of a rare item....though I'm sure all of us have a few of them....

As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
