Jim was in pupdate heaven this week with another pupdate, we had a visit to Japan, a visit to the Scottish Borders to view a remarkable item, the inevitable Gonks have arrived and we had a compatibility issue to discuss. Read on for more:
Andrew Hall two pupdates in a row, Jim is in pupdate heaven !!!
Burnsy made a visit to the Great Tapestry of Scotland up in Galashiels and is recommending anyone close to or passing near to make a visit, fantastic stuff!! A hamper arrived from the New Zealand Woodworkers Assiociation as a thank you for acting as a judge, very nice indeed.
Graham Brooks has been out making some more Christmas gifts...this time it's Gonks....the joys of Christmas are upon us (Sorry Jim)!!
Martin Stacey followed up on the images we saw last week with some details on the Chemical bonding agent he had used as we had several requests last time for the name and details of the product he had used.
Phil Irons is now back with us and through the jet lag following his trip to Japan. We got a bunch of photos plus some really interesting video footage of a Japanese turner called Eiko Tanaka plus a visit to a bowl mill...really interesting stuff !!
Richard Dickson rejoined us following some unauthorised sick leave, we got a look at an Ash pot and some trees that are coming down in his back garden. Richard was also asking about replacement parts for an Axminster inertia sander and there seemed to be some questions as to whether or not on of the Simon hop sanding heads would fit...anyone have a clear answer??
