Another busy week for all. We had hollow forms, natural edge bowls, multi centre turning, sea urchins, puzzles and some skiing rescue dogs...well almost. Read on for more:
Burnsy got some feedback on the Bad Bunny puzzle sent off last week. After some hours with really hot ears a photo arrived showing that things were not perhaps going according to plan in the Hall household...a second photo arrived later showing the assembled puzzle but it seemed to have taken on more of a "camel" form and not a Bunny.... We also got a look at a camera purchased to ensure an entirely non-digital cyanotype process...film...remember that !!!!
Gary Lowe sent over an image of piece of multi centre work...or as someone called it "propellor" turning. Gary has all of his fingers still and the resulting piece is a stunner. Next on the launchpad is a triple bowl piece turned on three centres....first aid kit at the ready!!
Graham Brooks is still struggling with the new knee so we got a selection from the archives including a multi centre piece and a very interesting piece with spindle turned spines. Very nice indeed.
John Brown sent in a photo and some video of a Yew box with a threaded lid he had made recently and very nice it is too !!
Patrick Lindsay is (as usual) putting us all to shame!! This week the work has continued with natural edge pieces in production and we got a look at some older pieces made from some pretty large branches of African Blackwood...very impressive indeed.
Phil Irons sent over a set of photographs showing the progress of a piece of Mulberry along with a whole bunch of test images taken to test some of the effects on his new phone...snazzy!!
Richard Dickson sent over some photos from his recent ski trip including a rescue dog getting a free ride home from a training session....something for Andrew to teach Roman possibly.
Videos Submitted This Week
As always we had several contributions from others so, if you showed something, then please do send over some photos you can do it from your mobile phone.... it's not that hard, just ask a teenager for help!!
DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS/VIDEOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!
Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.
Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all, keep on sharing!
