A slightly quieter week this week due to the public holiday but nice to see so many turn up!! We had a range of topics up for grabs and some nice work on show, a large quantity of Oak is up for sale in the Highlands and we had a video update regarding the work of the AWGB/RPT who are trying to get wood turning back in to schools - see videos below .... Read on for more:

Burnsy: WoodturningBurnsy Added some more pieces to the photography kit and edged a little bit closer to production. A lightproof changing bag arrived to allow film to be changed/handled without a darkroom and a Paterson developing tank arrived to allow film development without a darkroom....what did we do without eBay??? Some gauges for spigot sizing were also 3d printed this week.

Davey Irons: WoodturningDavey Irons  sent over sent over a photo of some oak beams which are up for sale. The beams are surplus from a film set, they are in various sizes and mostly seem to be of around 4.8m in length. The beams are up in Glen Afric and have to be gone shortly..anyone with the urge for some Oak beams (and a heck of a drive) should contact Davey.

Kevin Purdy: WoodturningKevin Purdy  sent over sent over some photos from a family trip up to Edinburgh with shots of the castle and the museum, seems like a jolly good time was had by all, a much needed recharge of the batteries!!

Len Shield: WoodturningLen Shield  sent in some photos of recent work completed. We got a look at a very nice bowl and a bud vase with a difference. The bud vase was made from a whisky tumbler with a turned lid which has a central hole for the bud or stem..really neat idea and it seems like quite a few of these will be appearing shortly!!

DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS/VIDEOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!

Don't forget you can find the previous Monday Session Reports on the website just click here. You can also look at the images for each week by clicking here and look at the images for each contributor by clicking here.

Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all,  keep on sharing!
