So lots going on this week with scheduling for use of printers, puzzles, lidded bowls, steam engines, prize winning pens, natural edge bowls and the shocking revelation that 60 year old British sports cars have "limp mode"...and on that bomb shell....  Read on for more:

Burnsy: WoodturningBurnsy continued with some woodturning and was able to get some time booked on his 3d printer...after Phil had run his jobs remotely of course.... Some woodturning has been going on along with some experimentation with lampshade components to get a reflective finish on the inside faces of components. A few puzzles were put on show just for Jim....it seems he prefers Pupdates....

Graham Brooks: WoodturningGraham Brooks sent over some photos of a recently completed piece. It's a bowl in bowl piece but with a lid on the inner bowl. The lid has been textured and decorated with some of the chameleon powder products from Emma over at the Tiny Turner. As always some really nice work from Graham.

Malcolm Ferguson: WoodturningMalcolm Ferguson  sent in a couple of photos of his prize winning entry for a local club competition, the subject was "a pen". Turned in Ebony this piece was a double first for Malcolm as he'd never turned a pen before and never turned Ebony. Looks like he's got the hang of both first time then!! Well done on the prize!

Mike Wilson: WoodturningMike Wilson  sent over a couple of photos this week. One from a meeting of the steam club he goes to showing a model traction engine gathering and the other of a Wassail cup which has come in for repair having lost it's lid. The cup is made from Lignum and has been turned on an Ornamental Lathe so replicating the upper section exactly is going to be something of a challenge, not the least of the challenges will be locating a suitable single piece of Lignum...good luck with this one!!

Patrick Lindsay: WoodturningPatrick Lindsay  sent over some photos of his continuing production run of natural edge bowls which seems to be keeping him fully occupied. We also got a look at the latest blooms from the greenhouse...very colourful indeed. Keep going !!

Richard Dickson: WoodturningRichard Dickson  finally managed to get the TR6 back together and back onto the road....briefly. The joys of classic car ownership continued for Richard as the newly rebuilt TR6 was only able to limp to it's new home looking more like one of the Traction engines that Mike went to see...new water pump and more work required.  All of which goes to show that the old saying "You don't just get a car you get a hobby" doesn't just apply to old Land Rovers.....
