Well, a fairly quiet evening with the Bank Holiday meaning that most of you were off doing other things...most likely making the most of the (almost) decent weather. We did have a report back from a Classic and Vintage car show, some outdoor jobs being done, some blank preparation and even managed to squeeze in some woodturning. Read on for more:

Burnsy: WoodturningBurnsy took a trip to town over the weekend to pay a visit to the vintage and classic car show. Lots to see including something which may look familiar to one of our number - a Triumph TR6. However, the real star of the show was in fact something small and orange.....

John Brown: WoodturningJohn Brown sent over some a video of an oak bowl made from a piece of burr, the voids were filled with copper powder. The video is posted below. Very nice as always!!

Margaret Garrard: WoodturningLen Shield sent over some photos of a couple of pieces completed recently. We got a look at a couple of bowls, one from a piece of material which was quite heavily spalted, the other bowl featuring some bark left in place. Both lovely pieces from Len.

Martin Stacey: WoodturningMartin Stacey has been continuing with those outdoor jobs, making the most of the decent (ish) weather. Small jobs included an outdoor shelter for the cat so it can stay dry, it seems to have been given the seal of approval by it's new occupant.

Mike Wilson: WoodturningMike Wilson sent over some photos of a bank holiday Monday in the workshop...preparing bowl blanks for an order that has come in. Hopefully we will see the completed order...hint hint!!

DON'T FORGET: YOU SHOULD SEND OVER YOUR PHOTOS/VIDEOS FOR MONDAY EVENING RIGHT AWAY FOLKS!!

Once again thanks to all of you for making these evenings such a success, if nobody contributed then none of these evenings could happen. Keep on making and, most important of all,  keep on sharing!
